Radboud University is looking for a Research Technician for Plant Physiology and Cell Biology, here, the candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research on the cellular and physiological mechanisms that drive plant life, utilizing advanced phenotyping techniques and machine learning tools to explore new frontiers in plant biology and help shape the future of agricultural innovation.
In this position, they will contribute to fundamental and applied research to gain an in-depth understanding of the processes that influence reproductive development and functioning in vegetable crops under suboptimal environmental conditions.
They will be primarily responsible for executing experiments and for processing, analyzing, and reporting the research results obtained. In their role, they will have the opportunity to be part of innovative research on the cellular and physiological basis of plant life. They have an interest in and affinity for advanced phenotyping techniques and image analysis, including the application of machine learning tools. They also have an eye for peculiarities, work accurately, and are critical of their research.
Duration: 1-2 years.
Salary
- Salary depends on previous education and number of years of (relevant) work experience.

Job Requirements

- Hold a higher professional degree in plant biology or a related relevant field.
- Experience working with plants would be valuable but is not compulsory.

- Are a team player with good communication skills.
