At QuTech the Quantum Internet Alliance at the Delft University of Technology seeks applicants for PostDoc Position in Quantum Networks.
The vision of a Quantum Internet is to provide fundamentally new internet technology by enabling quantum communication between any two points on Earth. Such a Quantum Internet will – in synergy with the ‘classical’ Internet that have today – connect quantum processors to achieve unparalleled capabilities that are provably impossible using only classical communication.
Postdoc positions are available in the following domains:
- Quantum Network Architectures
- Quantum Network Systems
- Quantum Network Applications
Salary
- Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities.

Job Requirements
Applicants for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Have a PhD degree in physics, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or physics or a comparable discipline at the time of taking on the position.
- For the position on quantum network architectures and applications, prior expertise in quantum information is a must.
- For the position on quantum network systems, experience in classical network systems, operating systems, or related domains is a must. A background in computer science or computer engineering is preferred.
- Enjoy working in a team and bring excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
