The government of Azerbaijan invites applications from OIC and NAM members to its fully-funded scholarships to study in the leading universities of Azerbaijan.
“The Educational Grant Program for the Citizens of the Member Countries of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation” (OIC) and “The Educational Grant Program for the Citizens of the Member Countries of the Non-Aligned Movement” (NAM) were approved by the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 6, 2017, and on January 10, 2018, respectively. The Educational Grant (hereafter “scholarship”) Programs provide an opportunity for selected candidates on an annual basis to study in the leading universities of Azerbaijan at the preparatory courses, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, general medicine/residency programs.
Benefits
The scholarship covers:
- Tuition fee
- Monthly stipend for meals, accommodation, and utility costs (800 AZN)
- International flight
- Visa and registration costs
- Medical insurance
Eligibility
To be considered for the Azerbaijan scholarship [program, applicants must be citizens of the member countries of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and/or the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
Application Process
The following documents should be included in the application
- Completed application form
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume
- Diplomas and transcripts from prior high school or university studies
- Copy of international passport
- Document on general health status (including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, and C tests)
- Certificate on language proficiency (if available)
