The Stanford Centre for Innovation in Global Health (CIGH) calls for applications from graduate and undergraduate students for the Global Health Video and Digital Storytelling Assistant.
Stanford’s Centre for Innovation in Global Health (CIGH) shares knowledge, equips leaders, and builds teams to address urgent global health challenges and achieve health equity. We are the hub for all things global health at Stanford, and we’ve launched a new program, Stanford African Scholars in Global Health (SASH), which this position will support. SASH supports mid-career physicians from African countries to travel to Stanford for six weeks, gaining a specific skill set identified by African scholars as a need to improve health outcomes at their academic institution. Physicians will then return to their home countries to conduct a year-long clinical improvement project focused on the skill set they identified.
This is an exciting opportunity for a student passionate about global health, health equity, and storytelling. Their work will showcase an innovative new program while fostering multi-cultural understanding and learning around critical global health issues. Students of all majors, interests, and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Both undergrads and graduate students are welcome.
