Atlas Corps is now accepting applications for Fellowships beginning in late 2022 and 2023 from operations and human resources professionals.
Fellows will assist, develop, and improve operational frameworks, procedures, and processes in the areas of talent management, human resources, strategic planning, knowledge management, operations, and supply-chain/logistics at mission-driven businesses. These Fellowships will also help Atlas Corps achieve its goal of improving US-based organizations by allowing Fellows to contribute their foreign experience and skills to the operations of the organization.
Fellows will also participate in the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab professional development series to develop their leadership skills and engage in networking opportunities with Atlas Corps Fellows from around the world.
Candidates may apply their knowledge and abilities in the following areas:
- Human Resources
- General Operations
- Knowledge Management
- Supply Chain Management & Logistics
Duration: 12 months
Benefits
- Atlas Corps sponsors the J-1 Trainee visa and covers most visa expenses.
- Atlas Corps also provides each Fellow with a living stipend to cover basic expenses (food, local transportation, and shared housing), a monthly phone plan, emergency health, and travel insurance, and
- A round-trip international airfare.
Eligibility
Candidates for this fellowship must meet the following criteria:
- Have a college degree;
- Two years of professional experience in one of the following areas: human resources, supply chain and logistics, knowledge management, or general operations;
- Be highly proficient in English,
- Be no older than 35, and be committed to applying their experience in their home country or region after the program;
- Have experience also in implementing and managing operational processes and
- Ability to multi-task with and manage multiple processes simultaneously;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to comfortably work with people from across the globe, as well as an ability to work with different working styles; and
- Flexibility, open-mindedness, and tolerance for uncertainty and risk.
Application Process
- The application includes a brief eligibility test to determine if applicants meet the basic requirements of the programs.
- Once applicants pass that initial eligibility test, they will be asked to give information on their passport, travel/visa history, language skills, employment history, professional skills, and social issue areas.
- An official transcript or diploma from previously attended universities.
- Two Recommendations.
- They will also be asked to complete three short essay questions.
