Applications are welcome for the Orange Knowledge 2022 Scholarship Programme for Study in Holland.
The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) offers scholarships funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs available for a selection of short courses and master’s programmes.
The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to contribute to a society’s sustainable and inclusive development. Its scholarships are open to mid-career professionals in specific countries.
The main priority areas of the Orange Knowledge Programme are;
- sexual and reproductive health and rights
- security and rule of law
- food and nutrition security
- water management
Duration
- Short courses 2 weeks to 12 months;
- Master’s programmes 12 – 24 months.

Eligibility
A small number of scholarships are given out to female and male professionals who are:
- motivated;
- living and working in an OKP country;
- proficient in English or French;
- working in one of the priority areas for their country;
- can motivate using and transfer their knowledge and experience in their employing organisation after their studies;
- agreeing to the OKP obligations and conditions (133.9 kB).
Selection
The selection procedures for Orange Knowledge 2022 Scholarship Programme are:
- Candidates register with their Dutch education institution
- Dutch institution nominates candidates and submits grant application
- Embassies check eligibility and assess applications
- Selection results available for Dutch education institutions
- Grants awarded through Dutch education institutions
Application Process
Follow these steps to apply for the Orange Knowledge 2022 Scholarship Programme for Study in Holland:
- First, find a course or master’s programme that is eligible for the scholarship.
- Contact the Dutch higher education institution that is offering the course for information on:
- the course content;
- the scholarship application and selection procedures;
- the online application form and the required application documents.
- Prepare the application and the supporting documents.
- Submit the online application via the Dutch institution offering the course.
