Kvaroy Arctic team is committed to achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment in the aquaculture industry. That’s why they produced the world’s first international scholarship and completely immersive learn/work experience aimed at breaking down barriers and assisting women in their aquaculture careers!
Benefits
- A $10,000 scholarship fund,
- A one-month paid summer internship on the Kvaroy Arctic salmon farm site in Norway, and
- Consideration for employment upon graduation.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a passport holder and permanent resident of an African country to apply for the Africa-specific scholarship
- She must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying an aquaculture-related discipline as your main area of study
- She must be able to travel to the Kvaroy Arctic farm beginning in the summer of 2022
- Applicant must be a passport holder of a country to apply for the global scholarship
- Fluency in English is required
